Week Ending 21st December 2018

Yellow 1 – Jack-Alfie – for being kind, calm and focussed during Christmas festivities

Yellow 1 – Noah – for always being kind, restful and an all-round lovely chap to have in year 2. He is always smiling and is a true role model to his peers.

Week Ending 21st December 2018

What a wonderful festive week and a term that ends on a high. The KS 2 children performed The Twelve Days of Christmas brilliantly throughout the week and we are very proud of them. A super selection of songs and readings, all showing a modern day version of Christmas. Thank you very much to the staff who worked hard in their classes to practice the individual songs. Then, putting it all together, a HUGE well done to Miss Busby and Miss Marvin.

Thank you to all of the parents who made donations for tickets towards both the KS1 and KS performances. There was a total of £483.75 raised and we thank you immensely for your support. In addition, we thank you for today’s donations in support of Christmas non-uniform day. Again, we raised £165.50 and therefore have £649.25 to add to school fund to spend on the children in the New Year. A huge thank you!

Today we say good-bye to Mrs Carlton. She will be greatly missed as she has been working at Greasley Beauvale for the last 15 years. She has decided to work full time in another school within Nottingham City and I think you will join me in wishing her a huge good luck and goodbye.

Santa visited school today and all the children received a present from the man himself, teachers, TAs and myself. We hope the children enjoy the reads over Christmas.

For now, I wish you a very merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. We look forward to further challenges and hard work in January. Stay safe, have fun and enjoy the festivities.

Warm regards,

Michelle Bates
