Greasley Beauvale Primary School came to life on September 1st 2008 following the closure and amalgamation of Greasley Beauvale Junior School and Greasley Beauvale D. H. Lawrence Infant School. Following a lengthy history of teaching and learning at both of the former Beauvale schools, a new era of education in the Newthorpe area was embarked upon as Greasley Beauvale Primary School opened its doors for the first time.
