P.E kits should consist of a white t-shirt, a navy jacket/zip up hoodie (weather dependent) navy shorts or jogging bottoms (weather dependent) and a pair of trainers.
P.E will usually be: Tuesday morning and Thursday morning (swimming)
P.E kits should be in school from the first day of term and remain in school until the last day of the half term, when they will be sent home for washing.
No jewellery is allowed to be worn for P.E. Earrings must be removed at home, if they are not able to be removed by the child. Earrings will not be removed by school staff and cannot be covered.
Every Thursday morning throughout the Spring Term, Year 4 will be swimming at Kimberley Leisure Centre. Swimming will start on Thursday 9th January and run until Thursday 2nd April. We will be leaving Greasley Beauvale at 9:00am by coach, and we will be back at school in time for lunch as normal.
Your child will be expected to bring their swimming kit into school on these days. Boys require short lycra trunks (not board shorts style, and no longer than knee length) and girls need a one piece costume (no bikinis). All jewellery will need to be removed for the session, and children with long hair must wear it tied up. To avoid items being lost during changing, we recommend that children come to school on these days without any jewellery, watches or other such items.
If you wish for your child to wear swimming goggles, please read the guidance provided by Nottinghamshire County Council and sign and return the consent form.
