I started my teaching career in 2007 and became part of the governing body for the school where I was teaching in 2014. I enjoy seeing the school through a different perspective in this role.
I am thoroughly enjoying my role at Greasley and am fully committed to raising standards for all children at the school, whilst also being mindful of enabling each child to reach their potential. It is my belief that considering the child at the heart of everything we do makes learning purposeful and enjoyable for all.
With a positive ethos and outlook, I have a keen interest in engaging with all pupils, staff and stakeholders to create a shared and sustainable vision for the school, which centres on success for all children. I thoroughly enjoy the role of governor and continue to thrive in my work, despite the current changes and challenges to education!

|Hobbies and interests||I trained initially as a professional musician at The Royal Academy of Music in London. Having worked for many years in this capacity, I decided it was time for a career change and went into teaching in the classroom. Children, their education and their celebrated differences never fail to interest me.|

I thoroughly enjoy seeing a totally different side to school management and the day to day running of the school.
