Year 1 spelling lists
These are the tricky words (cannot be sounded out) that children are expected to be able to read, spell and use in their writing by the end of the year.
Children begin to learn these in Reception and continue to learn these in Year 1. We will work on a small selection of words each week which will be linked to our phonics work
