We wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for your generous donations during the Harvest Festival collection over the last few weeks. Thanks to your support, we were able to make a significant contribution to the Eastwood Foodbank, who were truly appreciative. 🙏🏻
Our Harvest Festival assembly was a fantastic event, made memorable by the presence of Reverend Denise and Farmer Michael from Watnall Farm.
The children sang heartfelt Harvest festival favourites too with the help of Mrs Parnell. They also thoroughly enjoyed participating in live lessons, exploring the journey of ingredients from various recipes. They virtually visited places including a dairy farm, a butcher's shop, and a 300-year-old water-powered mill, gaining valuable insights into the origins of their food. 👨🏻🌾🚜🌾🌽🎶
