Merry Christmas
Well, that's the end! The final day in school of 2022!
The children will be wearing their festive jumpers today and celebrating the end of the term as they prepare for Christmas.
We have a lovely assembly planned for today, where we remind ourselves of what to be grateful for this Christmas, and a reflective time to think about our highlights from 2022!
In addition, we will be saying goodbye to Genevieve in Year 1 as she relocates and moves house further a field. We wish her lots of luck in her new school and location, and hope that she makes a great start, just like she did with us here at Greasley. She will get her Rainbow Rewards today to celebrate her great traits.
Another goodbye will be to Mrs Kew, who works in our school office. She is going to work at the university in her new role and again, we wish her lots of luck and best wishes as she starts up her new position. Mrs Kew has worked for us for many years now and is renowned for her professionalism and drive. She has worked hard on her links with parents over the years, has helped many a child and parent and was also instrumental in the setting of the new libraries in school. She will be missed and we wish her well.
That leads me to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2023!
A reminder that we return to school on Monday 9th January 2023 due to the INSETs the week before.
See you all soon. Keep safe, warm and happy!
Festive wishes,
Mrs Bates
