Winter Water Safety
Following the devastating news of the three children that fell into a freezing lake in Solihull at the weekend and sadly died, our school community send out our thoughts to the families. Another boy continues to fight for his life in critical care. We have the children and their families in our prayers and minds and wish him a very speedy and safe recovery.
Can I please urge you to talk to your children about the dangers of walking on frozen water and share some of the tips featured from the following website:

Ice is not safe. Please talk to your children and do not let fun turn into a tragedy like it did for the young children mentioned in the article below (age 8, 10 and 11):
