The adventures of Robin Hood

It was so wonderful today to go into the hall and see the Year 1 children with their visitor learning all about the adventures of Robin Hood. 

 

The children were able to tell me all about him and his whereabouts. 

 

They enjoyed role play, dressing up, asking questions and learning about his past and legacy. 

 

A wonderful opportunity today for the Year 1 history curriculum to be enhanced. Last week, it was all about Goose Fair...exciting!
