District Sports

✨ Good afternoon everyone ✨

Following on from yesterday’s post about District Sports, I wanted to give another shout out to all of our Team GB District Sports team 🏆💪🏼

For those of you who were able to attend, I’m sure you would agree that the sportsmanship shown by all our competitors was second to none. The team were so encouraging of one another, truly raising the roof at some points! 🙌🏼 Not only this, but they were also extremely respectful to the other schools and their competitors too 😊

Whether they placed or not, we are so proud of the team we took and would be honoured to have you represent us at sports events in the future – you were all amazing 🌈💙

Onto some of our standout performances:

Year 3

🥉 Isaac – bronze in the throwing a rounders ball

🥉 Sophia – bronze in the throwing a rounders ball

🥈 Harry – silver in the 150m flat

Year 4

🥈 Arya – silver in the 60m flat

Year 5

🥉 Jax – bronze in the hop, step and jump

🥈 Maeve – silver in the hop, step and jump

🥉 Ava – bronze in the 80m flat

🥇 🥇 Rowan – gold in the 80m and 150m flat

Year 6

🥈 Ruben – silver in the hop, step and jump

🥉 Thomas – bronze in the 150m flat

🥈 Alfie – silver in the 80m flat

Finally, I HAVE to mention our wonderful relay teams: both the boys and girls’ baton relay teams stormed through to cross the finishing line first in nail-biting style. To see our boys’ team win in such style, and our girls’ team to follow suit just minutes later, was a fantastic way to end what was already a successful afternoon! 🏃🏼‍♂️🌟🏃🏼‍♀️

🥇🥇 Big well done to our brilliant boys’ relay team: Isaac, Hugo, Rowan and Alfie 🥇🥇

🥇🥇 And our amazing girls’ relay team: Laurel, Arya, Ava and Evie-Mae 🥇🥇

Many thanks to the wonderful spectators too – thank you so much for coming and cheering with us at the stadium, we appreciate having you there to show your support and hope you enjoyed the afternoon too 🤗

I wonder what next year will bring?!

Many thanks,

Miss Marvin
