DISTRICT SPORTS

Good morning everyone 👋🏼

Just some final bits of information regarding District Sports...

Children can come to school in their PE kit. They will receive a school sports t-shirt to wear at the competition, which will be signed out and will need returning after the event.

Please ensure your child has a water bottle, sun cream and any inhalers they may need.

The weather looks set to be warm but cloudy – let’s just hope we can avoid any showers! 🌥🌞

We will be leaving around 12:30pm and the events are set to start at 1:30pm. The events and presentations are scheduled to finish by 4pm, at which point we will return to Greasley by bus.

If you are spectating, you may take your child home from Harvey Hadden, however you will need to speak to a member of staff and sign them out on our register.

Please note that the spectators area is separate from the competitors area – spectators are asked to use the standing areas either side of the grandstand block.🏃🏼‍♀️🏆

Any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We look forward to seeing you there! 😁

Miss Marvin

We wish the team all the luck in the world. They have all worked so hard in the trials, and we know they have tried their best and practised to ensure that they can be the very best that they can today.

We know that the children will use all the Rainbow Values today:

Respect and acceptance – “Being ready, respectful and safe in everything we do”

Active body and active mind – “Take ownership over your physical and mental wellbeing”

Inclusive yet individual – “Embrace diversity and be proud of who you are”

Nurture, develop and grow – “Persevere and take risks with your talents and potential”

Believe in yourself – “Be confident in your choices”

Overcome your obstacles – “Be brave, show resilience and challenge yourself”

Wonder and curiosity – “Ask questions and seek answers”

COME ON, TEAM GREASLEY!!! YOU CAN DO THIS...

🏃🏼‍♀️🏆

GOOD LUCK,

Mrs Bates
