Week Ending 20th April 2018

Wow…what a brilliant start to the first week of the summer term; the sun was shining and the children came back ready and rearing to go. Their attitude to their learning was brilliant this week and everyone came back with enthusiasm and drive…including our brilliant team.

The sun has been lovely this week, but very hot. Please remember to put sun tan cream on your child in a morning and provide them with a hat and water bottle. Thank you.

On Thursday evening, I was very proud to watch the school football team play against my old school, Larkfields Junior School. The team played exceptionally well and they really 'held their own'. It was 1-1 at full time. This then led to penalties and unfortunately, we lost 2-1. What a great battle they held and I was very pleased to be able to watch them with pride.

Next week, I would like to confirm some dates for summer fairs, sports days and much more so keep your eyes and ears peeled.

What a brilliant end to the first week of the summer term. Have a great sunny weekend and see you all soon.

Warm regards,

Michelle Bates
