Wow, today we held our annual harvest festival assembly, and thank you so much for all the donations. As the children entered to the autumnal music, they placed their goods, packets, tins and produce on the food bank tables in the hall and they were soon full!
Mrs Padley talked to the children about how her day started with a nutritious breakfast and how she is thankful to the farmers and their machinery for harvest time.
We all sang harvest songs together :)
Later in the week, Eastwood food bank collected your donations and thanked the school community for their contributions at this difficult time of year for so many families.
