Head Teacher's Blog!

This week, the following children have received a Head Teacher’s Award:
Esme – Year 2 – for accurately calculating number bonds to 10
Amy – EYFS – for fantastic expression in her reading
 
WILF will be spending the week with class 2 due to 100% attendance.
 
Diary of the week:
Well the sun continues to shine and the children continue to fly here at Greasley Beauvale.   I can’t remember ever having such a super star to a new year.  Foundation Stage joined us for Gold Book this morning and they sat brilliantly!  I carried out a ‘learning walk’ this week with my senior staff and had a good look at classrooms and the work the children were producing.  Behaviour in every class was excellent and there was a really positive buzz for learning.  Over the next couple of weeks we will be looking at the children’s books and we will be observing teaching and learning.  A busy time for everybody!
