Head Teacher Awards

An amazing start to the new school year. Lots of changes with new teachers, new classes, new rooms and different curriculum. However, the children have been aiming high and starting to make fabulous progress already.

So far this term, the following children have received a Head Teacher Award for the following reasons:

Evie-Jade - Blue 1 - For her consistent hard work in her maths lessons from the first day back. Evie-Jade joins in with the input of the lesson and presents her work well. We are very proud of you, Evie-Jade.

Sam - Yellow 2 - For independently writing in his English book about his walk in London. Sam used his sequencing frame and a grapheme grid to help!

Skyla - Rainbows Nursery - For fantastic use of a categorising frame to sort different representations of the numbers 1 and 2.

Bonnie - Yellow 1 - For creating her own sentences verbally, remembering to include imperative verbs. She also carefully copied them into her book with capital letters and full stops. Excellent Active Mind, Bonnie.

Pray - Yellow 1 - For using imperative verbs such as charge, pack, bring and take into her sentences. Each sentence was well-punctuated and neatly written. Excellent Active Mind, Priya.

Arlo - Blue 2 - For a beautifully written non-chronological report on Tutankhamum. It was filled with lots of facts and he used subheadings and conjunctions to structure his work. Well done!

Amelia - Blue 2 - For a beautifully written non-chronological report on Tutankhamum. She used subheadings and conjunctions to structure her work and it was presented with such care. Well done!

Rory - Orange 2 - For sitting calmly through a whole phonics lesson and trying his best.

Charlie - Yellow 1 - For amazing maths and writing. Charlie is practising writing the letter 'c' and the number '1'.
