⚽️Football Update⚽️
Each and every member of our school football team should be extremely proud of themselves for the way they represented the school in the tournament this year.
Both their footballing performances and attitude towards the games couldn’t have been any better, and it they were very unfortunate to not go further in the tournament.
It ended up being the last kick of the last match in the group stages that knocked them down from 1st place to 2nd place (the only goal the team conceded in the entire tournament) and ended it all. It was a very harsh life lesson that sometimes the better team doesn’t win (luck wasn’t on our side yesterday 😅), but you have to pick yourself up and come back stronger.
Well done again to the team; let’s turn our focus towards the other competitions we’re in and keep smiling! 😁
