Awsworth Primary School v Greasley Beauvale Primary School Thursday 10th November 2016
After a very good performance against the league favourites, Larkfields, we travelled to Awsworth for another league fixture. The team started very well playing some lovely football and were soon 3 goals to the good with Calum White scoring 2 and Sam Poxon getting the other one. The defensive pair of Harvey Bexon and Matthew Salisbury were well in command at the back and very rarely looked in trouble.
Half time brought a few changes with Cameron Pailing, Brandon Glover and Alistair Weeks coming on. Greasley continued to dominate the game scoring another 6 goals. The star of the second half has to be Cameron Pailing who scored a hat trick in an excellent 10 minute spell. The other goals were scored by Sam Poxon and Brandon Glover and Alfie Kirk scored his first goal for the school team, with an impressive celebration!
An excellent performance from everybody involved. The man of the match was Cameron Pailing.
