EXCITING PROJECTS AHEAD...
As we start the new term, I'd like to remind you of the exciting projects ahead...
Currently, on the School Improvement Plan (SIP), we are focusing on:
- To become a Thinking School where metacognition is at the heart of our ethos and curriculum (https://www.greasleybeauvale.co.uk/thinking-school/)
- To lower the age range of pupils to accommodate 3-year-olds as an integral part of school life (https://www.greasleybeauvale.co.uk/starting-school-2024-25/)
In addition to the SIP, we are also focusing on the following:
- Emerging School Priority 1 – To become an Opal School, where every child in school has an opportunity to engage in an hour of high-quality play every day (Home - Outdoor Play And Learning)
- Emerging School Priority 2 – To ensure that every child accessing phonics in school is exposed to a high-quality validated programme (Letters and Sounds | A complete Phonics resource to support children (littlewandlelettersandsounds.org.uk).
I feel a busy half term ahead, but how exciting!!!
