On Saturday , I had the pleasure of witnessing some superb runners from our cross country team who had made it through to the Nottinghamshire County Finals. Their place had been secured by the district event which was held back in October at Hall Park Academy. This time we had to travel slightly further afield to Worksop College and the competition ,as usual, was fierce! Each race had over 100 runners who took part.

We had great support from our parents who had made the journey – thank you. It makes such a difference to the children to be able to hear you in the crowd.
A few special mentions:
Maeve and Abigail who ran the whole course even though they were injured at the start when they and a few other children fell. I was so impressed with your resilience girls.
Denny and Thomas who came 4th and 8th respectively. Out of 100+ runners, this is super impressive. 🏅🏅
Enjoy browsing the few photos I managed to take.
Well done to all for being Broxtowe finalists!
Mrs Parnell
What an AMAZING team and great efforts from all! Very proud of you all for very different reasons. A massive achievement and looking back at the photos sends me back to my youth! Lovely to see that the Greasley rainbow travelled with you too! :) A HUGE thanks to MR and Mrs Parnell this weekend, and to a fab set of parents. Well done, everyone! Mrs Bates :)
