Welcome to the Greasley Beauvale family, Reception class 25/26!
We are very excited to meet some new faces and to welcome those familiar faces coming up from Nursery.
We are very busy making plans. We are currently in the process of assigning your child a class.
At the parent meeting on Monday 2nd June at 4pm, you will be told which class your child will be in. The classes are called Red 1 and Red 2. Your child will then be invited to attend transition events with their class. The dates are as follows:
• Thursday 26th June. Stay and play session for parents/carers and children
This is a chance for children to explore their new classroom with their parent or guardian. Your child's class teacher will be there to answer any questions you may have.
• Thursday 26th June. Picnic in the park
This is an informal event, where families can get together to meet and the children can have a play with some of their new friends. Bring a blanket and a picnic! (Weather permitting!)
• Tuesday 15th July. Stay and play session for children only
This is a chance for the children to come and eplore thier new classroom with their new teachers and peers.
At the parent meeting, you will be informed of the time slot for your child.
