OPAL

It has been lovely to see many of the Reception children joining in Opal this week. Many children have loved seeing their siblings and exploring more of the school grounds. Children have also had great fun with the new fire engine built by Steve and the Barbers shop built by Freddie and Harriet's Dad.

Big Build Part 2 will take place on Tuesday 18th November from 1.00pm -3.30pm. We would love to get the castle and the water wall completed and would be very grateful if anyone could spare the time to come and help us again. Please message me and let me know if you are able to come and help.

If anyone has any old hair dryers, curling tongues, and other hair styling things that the children could use in the Barbers shop we would love to give them plenty to play with. We would also love donations of role play items for the fire engine and pirate ship. (We will cut plugs and cables off any electrical items.) Also if anyone has an old hose reel or one of those small hoses that we can add to the fire engine we would love to enhance the children's play.

Finally we are also on the look out for some bigger bikes for KS2 children to play with. If anyone is getting a new bike or scooter for Christmas please consider donating your old items to the children.

Please look out for Opal updates in the newsletter sent out by the office. Many thanks,

Mrs Barrowcliffe and the Opal team.
