Autumn term 1 - All About Me

This half term the children will be learning what makes them special and how they are similar and different to each other. 

Our stories will be -

We have a daily Rhyme time session and we learn a different Nursery rhyme each week. We then do lots of different activities around that Nursery rhyme throughout the week such as identifying rhyming words, clapping syllables, making up our own versions of the Nursery rhyme and identifying different sounds from within the environment (linked to the nursery rhyme.)

Week 1 - No nursery rhyme as only 2 days and big focus on settling ni

Week 2 - 1,2,3,4,5 Once I caught a Fish Alive,  

Week 3 - A Sailor Went to Sea

Week 4 - Baa Baa Black Sheep

Week 5 - Down at the Station

Week 6 - Hey Diddle Diddle

Week 7 - Hickory Dickory Dock

For those children who were in Nursery last term we will also be recapping the different phonemes that they learnt.
