OPAL BIG Build

This week we had another successful big build session which allowed us to finish off the water wall and the castle. A huge thankyou to everyone who joined us. We really appreciate the time and effort you put in to making lunchtimes fun for the children. Steve has also been busy finishing the first tyre climbing wall, which should be ready to use from Monday lunchtime.

 

A big thank you to Chris at CCS Tool hire who kindly donated the tools needed to dig the holes for the poles which was an extremely hard job. We are very excited to be able to offer more opportunities for the children to develop their core body strength and to experience climbing in different ways. We have a second climbing area that we are hoping to complete soon to give even more opportunities.

 

Just a reminder that all children need wellies and a waterproof coat in school every day to allow them to take part in the great opportunities we have available. If anyone has any spare wellies that they are able to donate we would be very grateful. We are particularly short of wellies for children in Year 5 and 6.
