Being a parent isn't easy.  Here are some useful websites for those times where a bit of advice is needed.  Also, don't be afraid to approach school staff if things at home are hard - you'd be surprised how many of this kind of conversation we have with parents and carers. 
  • Family Lives Family Lives is a charity with over three decades of experience helping parents to deal with the changes that are a constant part of family life.
  • Family Action We work with over 45,000 children and families a year by providing practical, emotional and financial support through over 100 services based in communities across England.
  • Women's Aid Women's Aid is the key national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children. We support a network of over 300 dedicated specialist domestic violence services across the UK.
