Welcome to the Greasley Beauvale family, Reception class 26/27!

We are very excited to meet some new faces and to welcome those familiar faces coming up from our Nursery.

To help ensure a smooth start to school for your child, we have a number of transition events.

Tuesday 2nd June at 4pm.

Parent and carer meeting with Mrs Bates and the Reception staff.

You will be informed at this meeting which class your child has been allocated to and find out timings for your child’s transition sessions.

Thursday 25th June.

Stay and play sessions for parents, carers and children.  

This is a stay and play session where parents are invited to stay. This is a great opportunity for you to ask the Reception Team any questions you may have.  

Thursday 25th June 12-1pm:

Picnic in the park.

This is an informal event where families can mingle and meet! Bring a blanket and a packed lunch, and we will see you at the Trim Trial on the field outside the main school entrance.

Please note that this is weather dependent! Keep an eye out on the website for any changes.

Tuesday 15th July.

Stay and play session for children only.

The children will again get the opportunity to play with their new classmates and teachers.

 

We know that your child starting school can bring a mix of excitement and nerves! If you have any concerns or worries about your child starting school, please do get in touch with Emma Atamaniuk (EYFS Lead) by ringing the school office.
