YEAR 4
Spring 1
For easy reference, here's a brief overview of the learning for this half term:
Maths – We will be continuing our work on multiplication and division and moving onto length and perimeter.
English – We will be starting a new exciting story called 'Cinnamon' by Neil Gaiman. From this we will be doing a character description and a story retelling.
Science - We will be starting our new unit, learning about electricity.
RE - We will be answering the question: What do Hindus believe God is like?
PSHE - We will be working on recognising positive and negative feelings. We will also cover the 'No Outsiders' book 'Dogs don't do ballet' and continue our work on the Zones of Regulation.
Art- We will be focusing on the famous architect Antoni Gaudi and creating our own 3D clay sculptures.
We are excited to use our Now Press Play headphones to have an interactive experience focused on electricity.
PE will be on Tuesday and Thursday. Please ensure children come in their PE kits on these days.
