Spring 2

For easy reference, here's a brief overview of the learning for this half term:

Maths – We will be looking at length and perimeter, and the moving on to fractions.

English – We will be starting a new story linked in with our Geography topic, 'Song of the River' by Joy Cowley. From this we will continue to develop our direct speech skills, and then working on a retelling of our own. 

Science - We will be starting our new unit, learning about sound and how we hear.

RE - We will be looking at the Easter story and asking: Why do Christian's call the day Jesus died 'Good Friday'?

PSHE - We will be working on celebrating our achievements and working towards our goals. We will also cover the 'No Outsiders' book 'Julian is a Mermaid'. 

Geography - We will be revisiting rivers in more details in preparation for our river study on our residential trip.
