This afternoon we had some very exciting visitors!

 

The local MP for Broxtowe, Darren Henry, came in to congratulate Indigo 1 on winning the Beano competition, and even bought in a Raleigh Chopper Beano bike to show the children (along with the project manager, Darren, from Raleigh). 

 

We were also visited by Darren Henry's wife, Caroline Henry, the Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner to share her stories. 

 

The children shared some jokes with them too, and they even came prepared with some of their own. It was a lovely way to end all of our Beano celebrations!

 

We may even have built some great new links with the police and Raleigh :)
