Reading at Home

Reading books and homework diaries

Reading frequently at home really can make a difference to a child's progress and attainment, not just in reading but across the curriculum.

Reading books and homework diaries should be brought into school and taken home daily.

Children are allocated a coloured book-band based on their reading attainment. Books will be changed once a week. However, it is important children can read their book fluently before it is changed, this may mean children keep the same book for more than one week.

Thank you for your support and happy reading!
