Week Ending 21st October 2016
This week, the following children have received a Head Teacher’s Award:
Ruby – Year 3 – for her fabulous independent writing.
Thomas – Year 3 – for his amazing recount of a visit to a castle.
WILF will be spending the week with class x due to x% attendance. Diary of the week:
A few parents at school have been asking how the fund raising night went and how much was raised for the ward. I received this lovely message
“Everyone involved in ‘The Big Hairy Shave of’ would like to say a massive thank you for everyone’s support and contribution.
The raffle tickets sold at school raised £110 and the final total was a massive £1700.
The hospital have said that they are going to use the money to provide the children on Ward E39 with a visit from Santa and an amazing present each.
People who won Raffle prizes but were not there on the night will be contacted in the next few days.”
It was a great night and a very worthy cause.
