Diary of the week:
Welcome to the summer term. We have all been so impressed by the positive way that the children have returned to school; all very eager to please. We have welcomed Miss Jenni James back to the team, as she has returned from her maternity leave and Mrs Helen Timson begins her ‘keeping in touch’ days next week as she plans her return in June. It is good to have all of the team members back. Speaking of team members, it has been lovely to see Mr Paul Honey back in school working with some of our children; it feels like he has never been away.
I will be doing a few inspections during the term and Mrs Michelle Bates will be in charge in my absence. She is supported by Mrs Lisa Clarke, Assistant Head Teacher.
The next couple of weeks in school will be very focussed as the Year 6 children complete their final SATs preparations, I have every confidence that they will be proud of their achievements. Year 2 SATs are also looming, although these are not quite so formal!
