Children in Need

Good afternoon all 💛

 

It is Children in Need on Friday we feel it is important to acknowledge this charity and all they strive to achieve. With lots of non-uniform days before half term and one next week, Friday will NOT be a non-uniform day. Instead, we will be taking the time in class to discuss and reflect on the work that the charities that are supported by Children in Need do. 

 

Last year, Children in Need helped nearly 460,000 children and young people to overcome their challenges. This included supporting children & young people living in poverty, providing emergency support to families in crisis, providing comfort to children feeling sad, lost and alone, helping children overcome social injustice and supporting children to feel safe and secure again.
