Our Learning
Welcome to the Summer Term!
This term in English, we will be using the book 'The Arrival' by Shaun Tan, 'The Invention of Hugo Cabret' by Brian Selznick, and 'Windrush Child' by Benjamin Zephaniah to help us with our writing and spelling. ✍
In maths, we will be working on statistics, shape, and postion and direction ➕➖✖➗
Our science topic for the first half of the Summer term is Light, and the second topic will be Electricity. 🧪🔍🔌⚡
In our history lessons, we will be learning about the impact of the ancient society, Islamic Civilization.
In our geography lessons, we will be looking at the big question: Could our community be powered by solar energy? ⚡🪫
Our RE topics this term will be learning about Christianity ⛪
In PSHE, we will be focussing on the topics 'Aiming High’ and 'Transition', preparing children for secondary school. We will also have our No Outsiders lesson, as well as lessons covering the Zones of Regulation.
In computing, we will be learning about spreadsheets 💻
