Edale Residential 2026

Edale Residential Trip – What an Amazing Experience! πŸŒ„

Our Edale residential trip from Wednesday to Friday has been a truly fantastic experience from start to finish, filled with adventure, teamwork, and plenty of smiles!

We were incredibly lucky with our arrival – as soon as the bus pulled up, the rain stopped, setting the tone for what would be a brilliant trip πŸ™ŒπŸΌ. After settling in and unpacking, the group enjoyed fun icebreaker activities before having a lovely evening meal.

One of the highlights of our first night was the night hike πŸ₯ΎπŸƒ. Spirits were high, and it was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to take in the beautiful surroundings and spend time together as a group. Thankfully, everyone slept well afterwards, ready for the busy day ahead!

The following day was packed with exciting outdoor activities. Pupils challenged themselves and supported one another while canoeing, caving, and abseiling πŸ›ΆπŸƒ. It was fantastic to see so many of them stepping out of their comfort zones, building confidence, and showing great resilience and teamwork throughout the day.

Despite the long and busy schedule, the group remained positive and enthusiastic, and once again enjoyed a well-earned good night’s sleep.

On our final morning, everyone was organised, packed, and ready for breakfast before heading out for their last activities. The trip has been a huge success, with all pupils behaving brilliantly and making the most of every opportunity.

We are incredibly proud of how everyone has represented the school and embraced this experience. Trips like these create lasting memories, and Edale has certainly been one to remember!

A huge thank you to Miss Marvin, Miss Dyer, and the Year 6 team for all of your support in making this such a special and successful trip for everyone
