The Pupil Premium funding is allocated to school for children from low-income families who are currently or previously known to be eligible for Free School Meals. As well as for those children who are, or have been, in Looked After Care continuously for more than six months. Children who have a parent serving in the armed forces are also eligible for some Pupil Premium Funding.
The Pupil Premium Funding is paid directly into the school's budget.
The funding is based on the number of children registered as eligible in the school census.
