Dear Parents and Carers, 

I hope you are all well? We hope for a milder week this week and no snow! Last week was fun, but cold! 

Despite the weather, and Christmas pending, we have been working hard behind the scenes on Wraparound Care developments and applying for funding. We submitted a funding application to the LA at the very beginning of November, and we have just had notification that this was approved for Greasley Beauvale School. Grant allocations will be created over the next few weeks and then we will be in a position to start advertising for staff and getting the Wraparound Care provision set up and ready for a launched opening. 

We know that this is something that parents and carers have been deseprate for but in the past numbers have been low. We are hoping that this can now become a school-led venture and will thrive with numbers and places (just like our new nursery). 

I am still unsure of an exact opening date. However, we do forsee the Wraparound Care provision being open from after Easter 2025. Please continue to 'watch this space' for updates.
