Firstly we would like you to read to an adult.

Then create a treasure box that might be found on the seabed in a shipwreck. It can contain real treasures, for example coins, jewellery etc or personal treasures and things you might find precious to you! ( Already discussed with children)

You can make this out of art or recycled materials. Think about how you would describe these treasures to a friend. Why have you chosen these items to go in your treasure chest? Please bring in by Friday 18/6/10

This week in Numeracy we have been solving word problems about money. Can you write 3 word problems for a friend to solve about having a meal at a seaside cafe. Your friend can spend upto £5.00. Remember to make a price list for the items they can buy. (Already discussed with children) Please return by Wednesday 16/6/10

Due to the really hard work of all the children in their optional SATs this week we have not set any homework. Have a great weekend.
