In Year 2 we have loads of fun, because we choose the work we are going to do. Last term we learned about Disney and this term we are learning about World War II. We are learning to do joined up handwriting. When we can do that, we will get a handwriting pen!

We go to exciting places like the Synogogue in Nottingham. We saw a Torah Scroll as long as a football pitch and guess what? It was written all by hand in Hebrew! The Rabbi could read and speak in Hebrew.

Most classes have only one teacher, but we’re lucky because we have two. We really enjoy using the laptops to do our work.

We have been learning about Air raid sirens and night time in the war. We are looking forward to the rest of the term’s work.
